Drew has his oxygen monitored soon after being wheeled back to his room from recovery. It's been a long and stressful day for Drew. Coming out of recovery takes it's toll on him. As with most children prior to a surgery, the hospital experience can be frightening. With an autistic child, these experiences, coupled with limited communication skills, can be even more daunting. "What I really would like is for my boy's to be able to tell me what hurt's them," says Jill. "I would love to know if they have a headache, an upset stomach, or any other hurt.
